Biography

Dr. Shailesh’s board-certified in General Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. He has been in practice in Columbus since 1996. His goal is to educate patients about their cardiac care and discuss both procedural and non-procedural care before deciding on any intervention.At Taylor Station Surgery Center he performs cardiac procedures including Implantable Loop Recorders (ILRs), pacemakers, and Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators (ICDs). He was the first physician in Ohio (and one of the first in the United States) to safely perform same-day cardiac procedures at an Ambulatory Surgery Center. These procedures at Taylor Station Surgery Center provide the highest quality care with lower out-of-pocket costs for patients. He also sees patients in his office for general cardiac care, preoperative cardiac evaluations, stress tests, echocardiograms as well as cardiac monitors.
