Married to Ranga for 30 years. Two children – a son and a daughter. Served in the US Army Medical Corps during Operation Desert Storm. Served as president of the Medical Staff of Mount Carmel Health and president of Ohio Valley Society of Colon & Rectal Surgery and Columbus Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons as well as Columbus Surgical Society. Served on Several committees of the American Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons.
