Dr. Robert A. Durbin specializes in general orthopedics, with unique expertise in total joint replacement.

A medical school graduate of The Ohio State University and certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. Durbin also received professional training at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Ohio State University Hospital, and Columbus Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Durbin is past-president of the Columbus Orthopaedic Society, previous chairman of the department of orthopaedics at Mount Carmel East Hospital, past-president of the Taylor Station Surgical Center, and past-president of medical staff at New Albany Surgical Hospital. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Ohio Orthopaedic Society, Clinical Orthopaedic Society and the Ohio State Medical Association. Dr. Durbin also is a clinical instructor of the Mount Carmel orthopedic residency-training program.

His published works include an article on femur and tibia fractures in children published in the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, which he also presented at an American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Annual Meeting.
